Why are they here?

 

Ufologists commonly claim 'they' have been here for thousands of years. But it is hard to quantify the reliability of the ancient literature they cite.  

 

In fact, there's a folklore transposed from religious deities to so-called 'aliens" from all sorts of alleged civilisations. There's just no proof.

Thus investigation avoids folklore and asks the questions not whether the Sumerians were aliens for example, but what are the entities we're seeing here and now..
